Premier Division

The Premier division is the top level of the men’s basketball tier and is comprised of eight teams.  In 2006, the teams are:-

British American Insurance Jackson, Play Fair Warriors, Lumber Company Lakers, Nation/Nico DC United, KFC Pinelands, Solar Dynamics Clapham Bulls, Station Hill  Cavaliers, and Sagicor Tridents.

Generally games are played at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium or at the Barbados Community College.

The team in last place at the end of the preliminaries of the League Competition will be eligible for demotion. The Combined Schools team is exempt from demotion from the Premier Division.

 

In the event that the Combined Schools team is in last place at the end of the preliminaries the penultimate team shall be subject to demotion.

 

In 2005 the League title and knockout titles were won by Station Hill Cavaliers. Last placed team, Team Valrico have been demoted and will play in the Intermediate division for the 2006 domestic season.
